Elementary Education Off-Campus Programs
Towson University offers courses and degree programs in elementary education at off-campus locations through the Towson Learning Network. These programs are available at reduced costs.
Elementary Education (M.A.T.)
About the Program:
Elementary education prepares students to teach grades one through six.
Elementary Education (M.Ed.)
About the Program:
Designed for elementary school teachers to gain advanced skills in research-based
practices for teaching subject matter to diverse learners. In our increasingly interdependent
world, there is a need to prepare teachers to be global educators who internationalize
schools through curriculum development, instructional design, action research and
teacher leadership.
TLN Reduced Program Costs
The Towson Learning Network (TLN) partners with school systems, other educational organizations, hospitals, and government agencies to help participants access quality programs at a reduced tuition rate.
- Eligible participants may qualify for reduced tuition through their employer or other educational organization based on established partnership agreements.
- Tuition may be employer-billed or student-billed, depending on the partnership agreement.
- Educators employed by a Maryland school system or working in a Maryland educational setting that is not a TLN partner may join MDAEYC for a nominal fee to qualify for reduced tuition. MDAEYC participants are not eligible for employer-billed tuition.
- The $50 Towson University application fee is waived for TLN applicants.
- Admitted Student Enrollment Contract Fee of $200 is waived.
- Participants are responsible for purchasing required course textbooks and materials.
- All College of Education programs require the use of an electronic portfolio platform, which carries a one-time fee of $100 for undergraduate students and $120 for graduate students.

TLN Application Process
- Complete the form below to receive instructions for applying through the Towson Learning Network (TLN).
- The TLN application process includes a waiver of the $50 application fee.
- Please do not complete the Towson University Main Campus application, as it requires a non-refundable $50 application fee.
- To finalize your 撸先生 application and gain access to course registration, admitted students must electronically sign the Towson University Enrollment Contract. The $200 enrollment fee is waived for TLN applicants.
