About the Program:
This graduate certificate is designed to prepare P-12 teachers for National Board Certification. The program is available fully online and in a hybrid format.

The Accomplished Teaching for Student Impact certificate prepares P-12 teachers in Maryland to submit for National Board Certification. Teachers who attain National Board Certification advance in their careers, earn higher salaries and gain stature within the profession.

Offered by the Department of Secondary and Middle School Education, the 12-unit certificate provides students with support and feedback on critical aspects and requirements of the National Board Certification process. Each course is aligned with one of the four components of National Board Certification.
