Blackboard Learn Ultra, also known as "Blackboard Ultra," is the current interface/experience and it's automatically through our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) deployment. This means you鈥檒l always have the latest version of Blackboard and immediate system patches without major service interruptions. 

This service and vendor documentation are cloud hosted. Updates are not controlled by Towson University.鈥� 

Get started

Faculty should review the Blackboard鈥疨rocedures鈥痑nd Guidelines鈥�.鈥赌�Students, faculty and staff should to confirm compatibility, then using your 撸先生 NetID and password. 

Support

Hours of operation

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Blackboard support services follows planned and unplanned university closures. If 撸先生 closes due to inclement weather, Blackboard support will close as well.

Online

Log into and select the Blackboard Request type to submit a Blackboard issue or training question. You'll receive a response within 24 business hours (potentially 48 hours, during high volume times). You can also search the for self-help docs. 

Chat

Get a quick response from a Blackboard staff member during our business hours. Click the Chat with OTS Blackboard Support button at the bottom of the screen to start a chat.

Appointments

Book an appointment through the . Set up a time (9 a.m. - 3p.m.) to speak with a dedicated 撸先生 Blackboard Administrator to get answers to a particular issue or training question.
