- September 8 | Heart of Leadership Celebration: At 5 p.m., the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute marks five extraordinary years of cultivating the next generation of leaders 鈥 a milestone inseparable from the legacy of the woman who founded it. This celebration will highlight the Institute鈥檚 founding and Dr. Grasmick鈥檚 life and legacy with the premiere of a powerful documentary capturing her indelible influence on our state, followed by a fireside chat with Dr. Grasmick and David Rubenstein, owner of the Baltimore Orioles.
- September 12 | HACK the box: Join students from around Maryland for a free, live, in-person Capture the Flag cyber defense competition sponsored by the Air National Guard. See who has what it takes to be the greatest hacker!
- September 15 | National Voter Registration Day: Towson University students, faculty and staff will come together for a campuswide celebration of National Voter Registration Day, highlighting efforts to increase civic participation and empower the next generation of voters ahead of upcoming elections. Hosted by the 撸先生 Votes Coalition, the event will transform Tiger Plaza into a hub for civic engagement from noon to 3 p.m., offering voter registration assistance, nonpartisan voter education resources, and opportunities for students to learn how they can make their voices heard. Attendees can also participate in interactive activities, games, crafts, music and community-building experiences designed to make civic engagement accessible and welcoming.
- September 15 | Star撸先生p Accelerator Showcase: After eight weeks of learning, collaboration and growth, the founders of the 2026 Star撸先生p Accelerator are ready to highlight their ventures at the Star撸先生p Accelerator Showcase. Join us to hear live pitches from this year's fellows, explore their innovative products and ideas, and celebrate the remarkable progress they've made along the way.
- September 16 | 鈥淟ight Embrace鈥 Art Dedication: From 11 a.m to 12:30, join faculty, alumni, state officials and university leadership as they dedicate the 鈥淟ight Embrace鈥 mosaic installation in the Health Professions Building, a project of the Maryland State Arts Council in partnership with Towson University, made possible by the State of Maryland and the Maryland Public Arts Commission.
- September 23 | Teaching in an Always-on World: Join current and future educators for an interactive session for current and future educators to understand and strategically address the complex ways that students鈥 screen behaviors shape attention, information processing, and well-being, so we can better support thriving learners.
