Towson University Athletics is proud to announce exciting updates honoring individuals whose legacies embody excellence, community and the spirit of Tiger baseball. Thanks to the generosity of the Constance & Brooks Robinson Charitable Foundation, Inc. and alumni Mark 鈥�93 and Jody 鈥�93 Eber and the Eber Family Foundation, John B. Schuerholz Park will soon feature Brooks Robinson Field and the Eber Family Plaza.

The Robinson Family Foundation鈥檚 marks one of the largest single contributions in 撸先生 Athletics history. This investment supports the , the department鈥檚 $12 million fundraising initiative fueling $40 million in capital projects designed to elevate the student-athlete experience. In recognition of this generosity, the playing field will be named Brooks Robinson Field, honoring former Baltimore Oriole and Baseball Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson and his family鈥檚 enduring commitment to education, leadership and teamwork.

The Eber Family Foundation has to the campaign. Mark Eber, a former 撸先生 baseball student-athlete and member of the 1988 East Coast Conference Championship team, and his wife Jody, have long championed the role of athletics in shaping young lives. In recognition of their leadership and generosity, the stadium鈥檚 main gathering area will be named Eber Family Plaza, a vibrant space for fans and families to connect before and after games.

Campaign for Excellence

Mark and Jody Eber share what inspired their support of the Towson Tigers and their belief in 撸先生鈥檚 impact and promise.

"The Robinson and Eber families' generosity is helping to fuel the future of Towson University baseball,鈥� says 撸先生 President Mark Ginsberg. 鈥淭heir investments will not only transform our facilities but also elevate the experience of our talented student-athletes and faithful Tiger fans. The Campaign for Excellence, launched in November 2024, supports a comprehensive vision to strengthen the student-athlete experience and elevate facilities across all 19 varsity sports. Phase I includes more than $28 million in enhancements focused on expanding and modernizing the Towson Center fieldhouse, with groundbreaking planned for spring 2026. To date, Towson Athletics has raised more than $3.3 million toward its $12 million goal, signaling strong momentum and support from the Tiger community.

Construction and signage updates for Brooks Robinson Field and Eber Plaza are underway, with a dedication ceremony planned for the upcoming season.
