Kolade, an information technology major from Gwynn Oak, Maryland, and a freshmen at Towson University has won the PNC Student Solution Scholarship. Kolade views this achievement as a tribute to his parents鈥� decision to emigrate to the U.S from Nigeria.

鈥淲inning this scholarship is important because it will ease the financial burden of higher education, allowing me to focus on my goals,鈥� Kolade told . 鈥淎s the child of immigrants who sacrificed to give me opportunities, this award would honor their dedication and help me succeed while inspiring me to give back in the future.鈥�
