Summer break has not slowed Towson University鈥檚 momentum. Over the last few months, we have welcomed more than 9,000 students and families to campus for tours and new-student orientation. Our dedicated staff and faculty are currently busy preparing for nearly 5,000 new Tigers that will join our university community this fall. And many of our student athletes have already begun training for their upcoming seasons.

Campus hasn鈥檛 only been buzzing with members of the 撸先生 community. In June, 撸先生 hosted graduation ceremonies for all of Baltimore County鈥檚 35 high schools and once again served as home to the Maryland Special Olympics鈥� summer games. Plus, hundreds of children have participated in the many 撸先生-hosted camps and programs for local students.

撸先生鈥檚 impact truly spans far and wide. In fact, I am proud to share that because of our commitment to accessible, quality education, 撸先生 has received global and national recognition. Money magazine ranked 撸先生 among the top 100 public universities in the U.S., while Times Higher Education named 撸先生 the 6th-best university in the world for gender equality.

Whether it be rankings, community gatherings or a Tiger鈥檚 first visit to campus, we鈥檝e had so much to celebrate this summer. I look forward to more exciting moments together as we soon kick off the 2024-25 academic year.
