• The price of Social Group is $15 per person. (unless otherwise noted)
  • Our Sept 18^th Social Group will be a $20 charge and will include Pizza and Drinks.
  • Our Oct 2^nd Social group will be a $35 charge for our Fall Formal with dinner and desserts on campus. 

What is Friday Social Group?

Friday Social Group is a fun and relaxed gathering!

ߣÏÈÉú students and Hussman Center participants get together and have a good time playing games, doing theme-based activities, or just hanging out and getting to know each other.

We offer 7 Social Groups on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. Social Groups are announced via email, and participants register to attend using SignUp Genius.

How do I get Friday Social Group email announcements?

When does Friday Social Group meet?

Friday Social Groups only occur during Fall & Spring Semesters.

Social group takes place at the Hussman Center and will occur from 5:30-7:30 p.m. this Fall.

How to sign up and pay for Friday Social Group

You need to be on our social group email list to receive social group announcements. If you’re not already on the email list, please .

Social Group Spots are offered in 2 ways:

1. 7 Social Group Membership Package: 40 packages available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These will be released via email and the Hussman Center Facebook site on Monday, August 31^st at 4:00PM. Cost of membership is $140 and will be due by Friday, September 11^th.

      4. 1 extra raffle ticket each week
      5. Front of the food line for the Fall Formal social group (October 2^nd at South Campus Pavilion)

2. A-la-Carte Option: This is better for those who do not want to attend every social group but rather come when thier schedule permits. Those who have attended social in the past will be familiar with this process. Social Group email announcements are sent by 4 p.m. on Fridays, a week prior to when a social group is scheduled. The first 35 people who enter their name on the sign up are automatically accepted into the group and are expected to complete the $15 payment by Wednesday afternoons at 4 p.m. If the fee is different as noted below in the "What can I expect" section, that will be shared in the sign-up email. In addition to the payment a is required to be completed. You should receive an automatic email from Sign-Up genius reminding you to complete the payment and visitor form process. If your ability to attend changes, please contact us at so that we can make room for another individual.

If you are new to the Hussman Center social groups, or have not attended within one year or longer, please contact Brittany at bbunch AT_TOWSON for a social group intake meeting prior to attending the group.

What if Friday Social Group is full when I try to sign-up? 

If the list is full when you go to sign-up, please contact the Hussman Center at hcaa AT_TOWSON to put yourself on the waitlist and we will try to get you into the group that same week, if someone cancels.

What can I expect?

• The signup process will be done using SignUp Genius:
  • For Social Group membership via email on August 31^st.
  • For A la carte model via the schedule listed at the top of this page
• All and (Agreement and Transportation Form) will be completed online and are due on Wednesdays for those who are signing up "a-la carte". If things change before Friday that impact your ability to attend the group, please contact hcaa AT_TOWSON
• Snacks and Waters are offered, you're welcome to bring store-bought, pre-packaged snacks if desired.
• ߣÏÈÉú students will participate in Social Groups.
