Our public shows are free of charge and occur on the third Friday of every month during the academic year.

The Towson University planetarium is an all-digital system that allows for observing the sky at any time, from anywhere on Earth and from any vantage point in space.
Land on the Moon and Mars. Get closer to the Sun than you ever thought possible. Check out what the stars look like from Alpha Centauri or other galaxies. See the echo of the Big Bang itself.

Towson Observatory
When weather permits, planetarium shows are followed by telescope observing using our new 16" diameter Ritchey-Chr茅tien reflecting telescope as well as with some of our portable 8" Celestron telescopes.
