Partners come from a variety of missions and services, from schools and nonprofits to community engagement organizations, research institutions, and government agencies.
B撸先生 is about elevating the work we鈥檙e already doing with our partners throughout Greater Baltimore to better address the needs of the region. 撸先生's priority is on creating opportunities for positive impact, while respecting the breadth and diversity of our partnerships.
At 撸先生, an engagement describes the activity taking place between the 撸先生 and an external partner. One partner can have multiple engagements with faculty & staff across 撸先生's campus, and many of our engagements involve more than one community partner. We have identified five impact areas that serve as a basis for how the efforts, resources, and recognition of university-community partnerships are organized, and engagements may fall under more than one area:

The Office of Partnerships & Outreach highly values our partners鈥� feedback. Your feedback helps us understand the impact of the work and whether there is any room for us to improve our community collaborations. Receiving feedback from our external collaborators is crucial in order to place community voice front and center in our work at 撸先生, and it鈥檚 part of our best practices as a university as we work for the public good.
Our team reaches out to partners annually to collect feedback and learn how the work is going with their collaborators on campus.
Since 2019, our partners have reported that:
- 92% agreed the partnership resulted in a positive impact in their community
- 95% agreed that students were prepared to support the work
