Fellow Tigers,

It has been an exciting fall at Towson University, from the start of a new academic year to national rankings and transformative new partnerships. In August, we welcomed more than 5,600 new students to our Towson University community, adding to the nearly 13,900 Tigers who returned to continue their 撸先生 journey. We saw an increase of nearly 200 students, marking the university鈥�s first enrollment growth since 2018.

Our momentum continued with the release of annual collegiate rankings, which demonstrated that 撸先生 continues to rise as a national leader in academic excellence. 撸先生 was named the number one public university in Maryland by the Wall Street Journal (for the third year running) as well as Washington Monthly. We achieved our highest ever placement in U.S. News & World Report regional rankings, which named us the third-best public university in the North. And we were again recognized as a top school for value, social mobility and student outcomes.

These milestones reflect 撸先生鈥檚 ascension, a positive trajectory that is strengthened by the stories and contributions of our 200,000 alumni across the globe.

In this issue, you鈥檒l read about many of these inspiring Tigers, like Jenna Link 鈥�07, a fierce advocate for injured veterans, and Casey Baynes 鈥�98, who founded and runs a nonprofit dedicated to helping critically ill children and their families.
