Beating the Odds

Shodekeh, the College of Fine Arts & Communication鈥檚 innovator-in-residence, made history on Dec. 11, 2021, when he became the first professional breath artist and beatboxer to present a compositional work at New York鈥檚 legendary Carnegie Hall. He debuted his compositional piece with S艒 Percussion. Earlier this year, he became the first hip-hop artist in Maryland to have an , which can be found at 撸先生鈥檚 Albert S. Cook Library.
